Alyssa

Lead FLEXpert

Studio Owner

This delightful personality is more than a wife & mom of twins. She's a lifetime athlete & competitor who has experienced firsthand the need for increased performance, as well as the pain of suffering through injury. She is Stretchly's owner and Lead FLEXpert who has merged age-old stretch methodologies with a modern-day twist of luxury and service.

Alyssa found her passion for this field the moment she received her first stretch in 2019 quite literally yelling "THIS IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO...". Alyssa accepted a role at a local stretch studio in 2020 and quickly earned a loyal base of customers as well as the lead position amongst her peers. With her husband (Matt), Alyssa developed a new brand, new process, and new standard of excellence that will hopefully communicate value to customers above all else. Stretchly is a product of her vision for this community and the desire to bring wellness to everyone she encounters.

Jake

Sr. FLEXpert

Growing up in Prior Lake, Jake was involved with athletics and quickly fell in love with sports from a young age when he first began to play hockey.  In High School, Jake had a negative response to a medication that completely turned his world upside down and brought a new awareness to his well-being. With time and lots of trial and error, he went on a healing journey and learned the importance of living a holistic lifestyle and approaching health from every angle physically, mentally, and emotionally. This ignited a passion to help others live this way!

Jake is currently pursuing a health coaching certification from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition.

"I love getting to work at Stretchly because I strongly believe in the mission. Stretching was a huge part of my personal healing experience so I’m very happy to get to assist others in this way!"

Fun Fact: I love to ride my long board with some good music, take nature walks with my dog, and read!

Stephanie

Sr. FLEXpert

Stephanie has been passionate about health and fitness for as long as she can remember. She has always gravitated towards living a healthy lifestyle and loves helping others discover that even small changes can add up and lead to big results. She graduated from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul with a degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. She realized there was so much more to learn and went on to receive her master's in exercise science from Concordia University - St. Paul.

Stephanie grew up playing volleyball and basketball and now stays active by running (anything from 5Ks to marathons), cross-training with either HIIT workouts or strength training, walking or hiking on local trails, and will throw in an occasional bike ride. She loves stretching both to help wake her up in the morning as well as to help relax at night, and she always tries to make time to foam roll after a workout. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, travelling to new places, reading, and trying out new recipes.

Fun fact: Stephanie didn't start running consistently until she ran in her first organized 5K race at age 29.

Paul

Sr. FLEXpert

"I originally became interested in fitness in order to help myself live the best life possible. As I started to see the results of my hard work, I fell in love with it. The more I learned and the more I trained, the better I felt. I became obsessed with all types of training. It became obvious to me at that point, I should help people feel the way I feel and help people fall in love with their health and live their best life."

Paul is a Military Veteran and truly a 'student of the stretch'. Paul is quick to offer alternatives and recommended improvements to daily routine that will have a truly long-lasting impact. He can do this with confidence because he practices what he preaches and has proven to be a highly effective communicator for both new and seasoned stretch customers.

Connor

FLEXpert

Connor, a Prior Lake native, started his fitness journey during his first year of college at Iowa State University. After learning about powerlifting competitions at the ISU Weight Club, he made it his goal to qualify for a national level competition. In 2018, after four prior competitions, he finally qualified for and competed in the USAPL national powerlifting competition in Spokane, Washington. Achieving his goal came with a burnt out and aching body. This compelled Connor to learn more about recovery and nutrition. Although he was already planning to attend chiropractic school, he realized how beneficial chiropractic care was for his own recovery and how he could help other people with their fitness goals. This reinforced his decision to become a chiropractor.

Now, Connor is currently enrolled in Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has developed a holistic and scientific perspective that focuses on the natural healing capabilities of the body. Connor looks forward to using his knowledge and experience of neuromuscular stretching to expand his ability to help others.

Fun fact: Connor enjoys playing videogames, spending time with family, and hiking.

Julie

FLEXpert

I developed a passion for fitness and healthy lifestyle in my mid twenties.  My passion quickly grew and within a couple of years of working out at Lifetime fitness I became really involved  in CrossFit where I started coaching and competing. Throughout my fitness journey I added group fitness and USAW to my areas of interests getting certified in both. Aside from loving the fitness aspect of teaching, what I really enjoy is working with people and helping others reach their fitness goals.

I am really looking forward to my journey at Stretchly!
